As part of JLL’s Hotels & Hospitality Group, Alex is focused primarily on operator selections, pre-openings and operational asset management services, working with key clients throughout the Indochina region. Based out of JLL’s Bangkok office, Alex is part of the team covering key emerging markets including Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines, among others. Since joining JLL in 2011, Alex has been involved on a variety of mandates, including advisory and investment sales assignments across Thailand, Singapore, Philippines, Japan, Korea, China, Hong Kong, Palau, Malaysia and the Indian Ocean. Prior to joining JLL, Alex spent time with Pan Pacific Hotels Group and InterContinental Hotels Group, both based in Singapore, where he undertook project-based work specific to pre-openings and new market brand entry.
In his prior life, Alex was part of UBS Investment Bank in their New York and San Francisco offices, where he assisted clients in raising funds for their capital projects. Alex holds a Bachelors in Economics degree from Rice University (USA) and Masters in Hospitality Management from Cornell University (USA).
