Atakawee (Eddie) leads CBRE Hotels Thailand and is responsible for all hotel-related property brokerage and advisory services including operator selections, market and feasibility studies, asset management, and valuation. He has spent a decade in hotel investments / advisory, real estate, and finance between southeast Asia and the United States.

Based in Bangkok, Eddie previously was the Country Head for Hotel NIDA, heading up the operations and all business activities, growing the business to 1,600 e-commence hotel contracts in Thailand. Prior to this engagement, he largely sought out and qualified deals within Indochina in development / development planning roles with one of the largest China hotel operator PlatenoHotels Group (now under Jin Jiang) as Director of Business Development, and British hospitality company Whitbread for the economy hotel brand Premier Inn. Eddie also ran his own advisory service, and has experience with IHG in Strategy and working for the ex-Prime Minister of Thailand. He began his career as an actuary and institutional investment consultant focused on investment securities. He holds a master’s degree from Cornell University USA, and Bachelor’s Degree and education from Carleton College USA and Cambridge University UK.
